Who’s going to be in charge of yelling at me if I don’t make my goals?
You go girl! I actually just got done with a post-holiday-get-back-on-track slimdown to get back down to my normal weight and get back on track after the holiday. Here are my tips:
1) Whenever I had a serious craving, I would sprint in place, do as many pushups as I could, or do bicycles are long as possible. I even did this in the office, no joke, my boss came out and was watching me do pushups and I told her it was because I wanted peppermint bark.
2)Change up your workouts. Do something different every day and better yet, try something new. Find a dance workout you can do in your living room or something like that to keep your mind working as well.
3) Never go to bed hungry. Try to have a little something before bed, like some greek yogurt and fruit.
4)Treat yourself for doing well, just not in food. when you reach the halfway point, get yourself some cute earrings or a necklace to go with your dress to say, good work and keep it up. It will seriously keep you motivated!
Good luck girl! It’s rough, but so worth it. I’m here for you to cheer you on!
Your tips are awesome Mel!! Come to Indy and be my personal trainer! I can just see myself doing push-ups in the hospital so I can avoid the sweets! haha love it!
Good idea! Cute video

Thanks girly!!
Hey! You go girl!! I am a new reader, I have followed you about a month now! I love this 7day slim down idea, thinking about trying it.
I love that you are so positive on your blog! Good luck and look forward to the results, you can get in that red dress!!
Hi Ashley!! You should totally try it too! We can encourage each other
Thanks so much for the sweet comment!
Sounds fun, I will agree to do it with you!
Yay!!!! We can do this!!
If you don’t mind me asking…Where is your coat from? I absolutely LOVE it!
It’s from Gap! I love it too! I got it in the Gap Body section and it’s a great pre/post workout zip-up!
Andrea, not that you need to lose any LBs, but your week long slim down sounds terrific! A lady with a plan – you can do this! I’m guessing you may be 2nd-guessing yourself with a commitment like this (referencing a previous post) but with the proper food preparation, it should be a lot easier! Additional tip: keep that dress hanging in sight. When you’re about to dig into a bag of pita chips (a weakness for me personally), the dress may cause you to stop in your tracks

Thank you Monica!! You are just the best!!! And you are totally right that I am second guessing myself- I almost didn’t blog about this because I figured I would just go back to eating candy in a day lol! But I think the plan (and vlogging about it) will make it easier. And you better believe that dress is hanging up in plain sight!! Have a great Friday girl!!
Enjoy the new program!

What’s your calorie goal each day for the slim
Down?
I’m trying to aim for 1200-1300 per day. I’m only 5’1 and so it’s pretty low. On normal days I’m closer to 1400-1500.
You go girl! You can do it. Unfortunately, I’m going to be starting this next week, so that I can prepare for my friend’s birthday hang out. But, I’d love to hear your meal ideas and workouts! It’d help me plan my meals when I do mines. =) I support you all the way. You have such a positive attitude. =)

What is your fat percentage goal?-i apologize if you mentioned this elsewhere, but i’m new here and just browsing
Thanks Raquel!! You are so nice!! I actually haven’t taken my body fat in a while! I think it is normally around 20% but currently it’s probably higher since I haven’t been lifting weights as much! Hope to hear from you again soon!
