Here is a quick vlog I made about my progress thus far on my 7 day slim-down
And pictures from yesterday:
Breakfast was protein powder with cocoa powder (unsweetened), stevia, and 1/2 banana. Oh, and 1 tsp peanut butter
Late lunch of ‘pizza eggs’!
3 egg whites with oregano and garlic powder, spinach, marinara sauce, and shredded vegan cheese. Broccoli on the side.
At the gym I did 35 minutes strength training- chest and triceps. I finished with a 2.5 minute plank.
My arm workout included:
- Chest press with dumbbells 12 reps x 3 sets
- Skull crushers with barbell 12 reps x 3 sets
- Dips 10 reps x 3 sets (assisted)
- Pull-ups 10 reps x 3 sets (assisted)
- Cable triceps extension 12 reps x 3 sets
- *** In between sets I did jump-roping in place for 1 min or mountain climbers for 1 min to keep my heart-rate up
At home I walked for 1 hour on the treadmill (speed 4.0, incline 6).
My computer wasn’t loading my study questions, so I set up my ipad on my computer so I could study while I walked… there is something so wrong about this picture!
Calorie breakdown for the day:
Not the best…. today will be better!! At least I got in all my water and I meditated!

Ah!! I’m so sad I wasn’t in the loop this weekend! I totally have been missing out on my cheerleader opportunities. That breakfast sounds so so so good, but I totally would have spilled it all over myself too.
LOVE that you blogged this morning. Such a good start to my day to hear such a happy voice from such an awesome person. I’ve tried the 5DSD before, but never the seven. I really want to try it, but my boyfriend sometimes makes it a little difficult.
I also get a little crazy planning and end up spending a lot of money. So maybe I’ll try again soon!

You’re right Monica- everyone is sick right now!!!
The pizza egg looks yummy!
And, be careful! It’s good that you lighten your cardio since you’re not feeling that well. At least you still got it in. I admire your determination and motivation. I know you will be successful with this challenge. =)
